FAIR GAME no pun inteded but yeah its completly fair and ethical. Its not you fault the ducks will like your spread better so i say go for it. i know i would if i was in that situation
There is this place that is a duck haven, but its on private land and the owner doesn't let anyone hunt, he keeps it for himself. The city dam is next to it, which its public land to hunt, and i was just wondering if you guys thought if it would be bad ethics to hunt there and call the ducks off that land into my decoys.
Im planning to be in the cattails tomorrow mourning but with this weather its hard to tell where the geese will be flying. ill have to cross my fingers for tomorrow mourning but if anyone has some tips for east central minnesota that would be greatly appreciated.
Has anyone ever shot or at least seen a black duck? I can Officially say that i have seen a black duck and its in my pond oddly enough. I feel lucky really lucky and if i dont shoot a single duck this season i would still be as happy with limits everyday. so Black Ducks anyone?
Its hard to see in this picture but its the best one i have thats digital but on the right nost duck if you look at the bill you can see the greenish hue to it... yeah i have the holy grail of puddle ducks swimming around my pond right now and i cant shoot it with my benelli so i shot it with my camera i have some regular film pictures that once i get umm developed i will post on here that are alot better do to my telephoto lens
Sounds like the dogs are goin as crazy as we ar lol. I've been ready since this summer. Everyone was talking about fishing, my mind was on huntin. As the Mossy Oak sayin goes "Its not an passion. Itsan obession." I firmly believe this. As soon as Im out of the marsh or blind my mind is racing on how I can impove the hunt, or how I can repeat the days feat.
I CANT WAIT FOR TEAL SEASON!!! THATS ALL IV DONE IS WATCH DUCK HUNTING VIDEOS AND DUCK CALLED. NOW I AM PRAYING FOR RAIN SO IT WILL FLOOD GRASS FIELDS DOWN HERE,AND I HOPE THAT COLD FRONTS UP NORTH PUSH THEM LIL TEAL DOWN HERE. ITS ALOT TO ASK BUT GOD WILL PROVIDE.I AM SO READY TO KILL SOME BIRDS!!!!!!
OLD COOT,iv heard that its best to do that. alot of people dont practice every day at calling, and at the end of the season im sure ducks have heard every type of duckcalling good and bad. what do you do at the end of the season to get shy ducks in the spread??

Personally i'd say either the Vinci or the cordoba... i've shot the vinci and its nice but i absolutly love my cordoba. I have put over 3000 rounds through it with out so much as a hiccup light loads to heavy duck loads and it handles everything perfectly and comes back asking for more. its so reliable when i'm shooting skeet or anything like that i only clean it every 500 rounds or so. I know its more then the vinci but i personally like it better. The cordoba was made for dove s
I have about 2 dozen -1 being shot by my dad; However we use it with a mojo mallard duck and depending on your spread and where you go or are, everything will work fine, I find that the best time is when the weather is storming coming down with a little snow and other times on the river its best for a nice sunny day, when the ducks are lookoing to come in for a swim...
anything works as long as you can call them in, we budget ourselves too, but we still get limit after a few years of hunting w
Dove opens here with early goose, so I carry some #6 steel just in case we have some pass shooting. In WI the law reads you can not posses any lead while waterfowl hunting so its not worth the hassle.
thanks &th i've been lookin at gettin a dillion press for my pistols but i need a new barrell for the glock first after a little over 10,000 rounds its starting to not shoot as good as it used too yet for a little more i can buy a new glock so i may do that but yeah a pistol press is next on the list of semi major purchases
its hard to say because most of the time i bring everything to the range but in terms of sheer numbers of rounds in a session its a 50 50 split between my cordoba and my hand guns. i try and get out at least once a week with both just to keep myself in practice. but when the season starts clsoing in i usually shoot the cordoba more. for the rifles i practice with them just to make sure but i do shoot my 10/22 just cause its cheap and the squirells and wood chucks like my garden a little
